Prince Harry’s allegation he was physically attacked by Prince William is « massively overblown » and a « cheap shot », a source said. The Duke of Sussex described an attack with the Prince of Wales in a 2019 row over Meghan Markle in his book, Spare.
Author, Russell Myers, reports a royal source as saying tensions were « running very high » at the time and there were « cross words exchanged » which were « regrettable ». But the source said William is « adamant » there was no physical violence. The unnamed source dismissed Harry’s decision to reveal the row as a « cheap shot ».
Mr Myers, writing in his book, William and Catherine: The Intimate Inside Story, also quotes a source as alleging some palace staff were « deeply unhappy » on being « ground down » by the Sussexes.
