The best places to live in England and Wales in 2026 have been revealed and it could prove inspiration as to where you should move. Experts have weighed up areas that offer high quality of life, strong property value and growth potential.

Almost 1,450 cities, towns and villages scored highly in at least one of the five criteras: natural environment, wellbeing, heritage and culture, schools and jobs as well as value for money.
