Clubcard points are worth double with Tesco’s reward partners, including easyJet holidays (Image: Getty)
Tesco shoppers are being urged to use forgotten Clubcard points and swap them to make huge savings with easyJet holidays.
The supermarket chain teamed up with easyJet holidays last year to celebrate 30 years of its Clubcard scheme. Now, as a Clubcard Rewards Partner, shoppers can bag significant money off their next holiday.
One Clubcard point is equivalent to 1p, so every 100 points you collect amounts to a £1 spend in Tesco. But, Clubcard points are worth double their value with the supermarket’s reward partners, so if you have a bunch of points sitting in your account that you’ve forgotten about, it’s well worth checking and exchanging your vouchers to spend with a reward partner instead.
There are more than 100 reward partners to choose from, but what shoppers might not realise is that points can be used towards a holiday abroad – inlcuding with easyJet holidays.

Tesco shoppers can exchange a maximum of £300 in Clubcard vouchers with easyJet holidays and this will give you double the value at £600 in credit to spend on a package holiday.
Your easyJet holidays credit will remain valid for six months from the date you exchange your Clubcard vouchers and you can use the credit for a new holiday booking, or towards an outstanding balance on an existing booking.
And with easyJet currently running a huge January sale with savings of up to £400 off package holidays, now is the ideal time to recover Clubcard points you may have forgotten about and cash them in to double their value.
Martin Lewis’ Money Saving Expert (MSE) shared the tip in this week’s newsletter, urging shoppers to swap their Clubcard vouchers for travel, hotels and more: “If you collect Clubcard vouchers at Tesco, 500 points are usually worth £5 to spend in store. But spend them the right way and those 500 points could be worth £10.
“This is about exchanging Clubcard vouchers for codes to spend with Clubcard Reward Partners on travel, food, days out and more. For example, £5 in Clubcard vouchers gets you £10 to spend at the following:
- APH Airport Parking
- Eurocamp
- Hotels.com
- LeShuttle (formerly Eurotunnel LeShuttle)
- P&O Cruises
- EasyJet holidays
“You can also exchange £1.50 in vouchers for 300 Virgin points to use at the Virgin Atlantic Flying Club.”
Your easyJet credit cannot be used for flight only purchases, additional products like travel insurance or airport parking, or any other products offered by easyJet holidays.
The Tesco Clubcard holder must be one of the travel party on the holiday booking and you cannot share or combine your easyJet holiday account or credit with others.
If you cancel or change your holiday booking, your credit won’t be refunded back into Clubcard vouchers or Clubcard points.
Tesco said: “Please note, once you exchange your Clubcard vouchers for easyJet holidays credit, this is non refundable. Any unused easyJet holidays credit will not be refunded, credited, or exchanged, so only exchange the amount you need.
“Within a 12 month period the maximum you can exchange is £300 in Clubcard vouchers (£600 easyJet holidays credit). The 12 month period starts from the date you exchange your Clubcard vouchers for easyJet holidays credit.”
