Piers Morgan humiliates ‘dreadful’ Trump after sickening Rob Reiner post | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV

Piers Morgan has demanded that Donald Trump delete his sickening Truth Social post following the tragic deaths of director Rob Reiner and his wife Michele Singer, 68. Earlier today, the US President unleashed an extraordinary attack on Reiner just hours after it emerged the film director and his wife had passed away.

Trump took to Truth Social to issue a lengthy post, describing the 78-year-old film star’s death as « very sad ». However, the statement turned into a shocking rant, with the President claiming the couple’s deaths were « reportedly due to the anger he caused others » through « Trump derangement syndrome ».

The US Leader’s message said: « A very sad thing happened last night in Hollywood. Rob Reiner, a tortured and struggling, but once very talented movie director and comedy star, has passed away, together with his wife, Michele, reportedly due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, sometimes referred to as TDS.

« He was known to have driven people CRAZY by his raging obsession of President Donald J. Trump, with his obvious paranoia reaching new heights as the Trump Administration surpassed all goals and expectations of greatness, and with the Golden Age of America upon us, perhaps like never before. May Rob and Michele rest in peace! »

Sharing the sickening post on social media, a clearly furious Morgan wrote: « This is a dreadful thing to say about a man who just got murdered by his troubled son. Delete it, Mr President @realDonaldTrump. »

Dozens of Morgan’s followers flocked to the comments section, with one penning: « I am a big-time Trump supporter, and I agree with you, Piers. It’s not the time or place for that. » Another added: « I agree. I couldn’t imagine being the type of human to even think like this when someone passes. Heartbreaking to say the least. »

Reiner and his wife were found dead in their Californian mansion overnight after reportedly being stabbed to death.

The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating their deaths, and their 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, is being held in police custody following his arrest.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department records show he was booked into the LAPD Metropolitan Detention Centre and is being held on $4 million bail.

Reiner is best known for directing top films such as Stand By Me and This Is Spinal Tap.
