A quality pair of jeans can see shoppers through numerous fashion seasons and go with everything. And a new pair from Marks & Spencer has been hailed by shoppers for the flattering fit.
The M&S 16Arlington pure cotton high waisted wide leg jeans are part of an exclusive range created in collaboration with cult London label 16Arlington. They’re priced at £65 and have a high-waist cut, falling into a wide leg that reaches ankle length. Made from 100% cotton for structure and to maintain their shape without clinging. The cut means they’re great if you want a nice pair of jeans that will fit nicely around the stomach and flatter the waistline.
Available in both short and regular lengths, and in sizes 6 to 18, these jeans feature a clean and understated wash. According to M&S, the jeans are one of the collection’s best-selling items and have been bought more than 100 times in the last five days.
Shoppers can accentuate the high waist by tucking in a white T-shirt or fine knit, and add loafers or low-heeled boots to elongate the leg and perfectly complement the dark indigo colour. These jeans can be washed at 40C and feature a button and zip fastening at the waist, reports the Mirror.
As the jeans are a new addition to the M&S website, they don’t have any customer reviews. However, the brand is known for it’s good quality denim.
A similar pair of jeans, in terms of cut, is the High Waisted Wide Leg Ankle Grazer Jeans. In reviews, shoppers have described these jeans as « comfortable and soft ». That said, the 16Arlington jeans are a little pricier than your usual M&S pair (because they’re a designer collaboration).
M&S jeans usually retail somewhere between £30 and £45, whereas the 16arlington jeans are £65. However, for a big designer name, £65 is a fantastic price.
