Vodafone down updates as customers left without internet access | UK | Travel

Hundreds of Vodafone customers have reported that they cannot access the internet as Vodafone confirms issues with its broadband. 

More than 700 people have reported issues through Down Detector since 6:30am. 

The majority (84 percent) of reports said it affected their landline internet, eight percent reported a total blackout, while eight percent reported not having signal. 

Vodafone told The Express that its CityFibre service is impacted, which is affecting « some Vodafone customers ».

It said: “We’re aware of an issue with CityFibre affecting some of our customers. We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience while the issue is being resolved.”

Customers have posted their frustrations to X, with one saying: « What’s going on with broadband? I have no Internet and it won’t allow me to check my service online! »

Another added: « Broadband down since early morning in Peterbrough area, any chance of some communication on the issue please? »

Another confirmed it was also down in Leicester.

Vodafone has advised customers through X to use the service test tool to run their own diagnostics through Vodafone, or get in touch with their broadband team on 0333 304 0191, or through live chat.
